The Heritage Series G12S steel-string acoustic from Washburn is built with exacting standards, and topped with solid mahogany, to shape a full sound with an extra-thick layer of warmth. The mahogany body has been finished with a matching mahogany neck and an ovangkol fretboard to support and deepen the natural warmth and, since this is a grand auditorium shaped guitar, all that depth is rounded off by the kind of shimmering high-end and detailed dynamics that's so well-loved by fingerpicking guitarists as well as strummers. This guitar also offers the smooth playability of a tight-feeling, comfortable neck, as well as the snug feel of the resonance chamber. Prachtige klankkleur en goede intonatie ook in de hogere frets, actie staat al gelijk heel fijn afgesteld op 2.5mm en 2.0mm, mooi afgewerkt, een plaatje om te zien. Helaas heb ik hem moeten retourneren ivm de hals die voor mij net niet voelde zoals ik het wilde. Mijn neef die al 35 jaar speelt vond hem heerlijk spelen en speelde zonder problemen. Dus ja, een gitaar blijft altijd een persoonlijke kwestie, zo ook nu... Maar daar kwam de ongelofelijke service van BaxMusic om de hoek kijken, dus voor hun 5 sterren, kon gewoon retourneren en het geld heb ik zonder problemen teruggestort gekregen (mits onbeschadigd natuurlijk).
