This EVH 5150III guitar amplifier is home to that classic British brown sound that helped Eddie Van Halen to become one of the world's best known guitarists. This 2x12" combo packs 50 Watts of power, all of which originates from an EL34 power amp to offer you a fresh, British-sounding version of the standard 6L6 variant. Each of the three channels of this amp comes with individual volume and gain controls, meaning that in addition to summoning that legendary distorted sound, you can use the included footswitch to switch to either a cleaner or more high-gain tone.

Since this is a genuine EVH tube combo amplifier after all, it's also loaded with no less than seven JJ ECC83 preamp tubes and finished with a pair of 12-inch Celestion EVH Custom speakers. This means you can drop a barrage of possible guitar sounds on any live audience, especially if you love to give your riffs and leads in that typical EL34 edge. If you simply plan on using the 5150III at home, you can use the Power Level pot to tone things down a little.
