With the Mighty 8BT MKII, NUX presents a compact practice amp that gives beginner guitarists and bassists unlimited access to an enormous range of possible sounds, effects and functions. This little combo amplifier is so extensive, it'll even slap a grin on the face of more experienced musicians, especially if they're looking for the right tool for taking a deeper dive into the world of modelling and impulse responses. Out of the box, this amp comes loaded with thirty-six premium IRs plus space for another eighteen third-party IRs and, as well as support for electric guitars and basses, this model comes fitted with an input for a microphone, completing an all-in-one setup with a 6.5 inch FRFR speaker at its core, delivering on-point sound. Plug the Mighty 8BT into a power socket or load it with eight AA batteries and take it on the road.

The NUX Mighty 8BT MKII: Handy App Support

Via the MightyAmp™ app and Mighty Editor™ software, all of your effect chain blocks and parameters can be managed and tweaked to match your own particular tastes, so you can colour in your sound with effects like modulation, delay and reverb. As a neat bonus, the Mighty 8BT can also serve as a personal audio interface. Simply hook it up to a computer via USB and record directly to your favourite audio editing software. Beyond all of that, NUX has designed a truly solid practice buddy complete with a built-in drum machine, a headphone output, an AUX input and even Bluetooth for cable-free audio streaming.

  • Windows users can download the NUX ASIO driver from the NUX website to use the Mighty 8BT MKII as an audio interface. Mac users do not require a driver.
