With the Spark LIVE, Positive Grid introduce a true game-changer when it comes to gigging gear. You're looking at a 4-channel smart amp and PA system crammed into a compact and lightweight unit that can be connected to your guitar, bass guitar, microphone, keyboard or everything all at once. The Sonic IQ Computational Audio engine ensures astonishing sound no matter the room you're in, while a built-in G-sensor gyroscope automatically applies sound setting tweaks based on vertical versus horizontal placement.
The Spark LIVE: Stereo Smart Amp
Instead of simply building a bigger and better version of the original Spark, Positive Grid have opted to push technological limits and redefine the concept of a gigging amplifier. Powered by a 150W class-D amplifier, the Spark LIVE serves up four channels and is fully supported by the upgraded Spark app, handing you discrete channel control and access to 36 amp models and 50 effects.

I was really excited to receive this and it worked out of the box. The app on the phone kept pestering for a firmware update so I thought I'd just get that done and out of the way...
I attempted to update the firmware using the pc app from the official website, followed the instructions and the process failed .. but what is worse is the amp would no longer turn on. I proceeded to follow the instructions on the website as there is an alternative firmware Installer, but this require's the amp to be turned on, and the thing wouldn't switch on. There seems to be no live support from Positive Grid, no phone number or live chat, and support emails took around 2 days to respond.
I am an IT professional and tried other things, such as factory reset and power cycles to no avail. The thing was DEAD. I tried the installers from a Mac and still no luck and no response from PG after around 5 hours.
After around 5 hours, the firmware update from the Mac did work and I got a response from PG 2 days later.
So I had quite a traumatic experience with this amp.
Having said that, it sounds great. I just won't be upgrading the firmware in future.
In mijn ogen is dit alles wat ik nodig had! Zelf ben ik nog niet heel lang thuis in de elektrische gitaren, de app met mogelijke tonen en effecten maakt dit geen enkel probleem. Heel makkelijk in bediening, leuk om bepaalde effecten van gekende liedjes of artiesten te kunnen opzoeken. Ideaal als PA systeem en met meerderen te connecteren. Tot hiertoe nog geen seconde spijt gehad van deze aankoop!
Ik heb de Positive Grid Live nu drie weken in huis. Ik heb heel lang getwijfeld, alle filmpjes bekeken, reviews gelezen en uiteindelijk tot de aankoop overgegaan.
Ik moet zeggen; het overtreft mijn verwachtingen. Het is perfect voor kleine optredens en kan inderdaad als PA systeem makkelijk gebruikt worden.
Wat ik ook geweldig vind, is dat je zelfs thuis op lagere volumes nog steeds zeer goed geluid hebt.
De app is ook perfect om te oefenen op al je muziek, die je maar kan indenken.
Voor mij een perfecte aankoop!

I bought the spark live and the spark cab from BAX wasn’t cheap. Brilliant concept but it’s dreadful. Presets disappear

And Positive grid customer support is no existent
