The scratch-ready RANE ONE DJ controller comes with all of the solid reliability and intuitive playing feel that we got with the RANE Seventy and Twelve. This controller offers a familiar and comfortable old-school set-up that's fully future-proofed and neatly packed up inside a nice-and-weighty steel chassis, providing any hard-working DJ with a durable and ultimately stable all-in-one professional performance tool.

An Intuitive Performer

The face of the RANE ONE has been mounted with a pair of 7-inch, vinyl-textured and motorised platters with adjustable torque so you can find that authentic, tactile feel that you'd get with a genuine set of traditional decks. The RANE ONE is, of course, a two-deck controller in its own right, providing eight multifunctional performance pads per side that can be assigned Hot Cues, Saved Loops, a Roll Sampler, Slicer, and full control over Serato Scratch Bank. Each deck also comes finished with six FX controls with aluminium rotary knobs, a dynamic three-band EQ section, and high and low pass filters for clean and clear sound with plenty of tweakable, creative range. All of this happens before we hit the professional-grade MAG FOUR crossfader and its uber-light touch, slick and gliding feel, and extensively customisable parameters via both hardware and software.

Professional-Level Connections

Up to two laptops can be hooked up to the RANE ONE via USB. Line inputs are also fitted for phono as well as line signals, so you could even link up a set of turntables - but note that, since this is a two-deck controller, you'd still have those two decks. Around the back, balanced XLR Main and Booth outputs and an extra RCA output can be found alongside two microphone inputs, amounting to a possible total of five audio sources for complex mixing. The RANE ONE DJ controller comes including an internal license for Serato DJ Pro and has been fully prepped to support Virtual DJ and Algoriddim DJ Pro AI.
