The Showtec Pixel Controller has been exclusively designed for the Pixelstrip, Pixeltube and Pixel Dot. This compact yet extensive unit supplies four outputs, each of which is able to manage up to four metres of Pixelstrip, five metres of Pixeltube and a chain of up to forty Pixel Dots. If you're using Art Net, then every individual Pixel can be controlled, but the Pixel Controller also supports all standard DMX protocols and Kling-Net and, next to master/slave mode, Showtec has also loaded in a set of built-in programmes. Basically, as the fixtures included in the Showtec Pixel Series get more extensive, the gear needed to steer everything has to be just as extensive - which is exactly what the Showtec Pixel Controller is.
