These unique 'soft-steel' strings also have the added benefit of being compatible with magnet based soundhole pickups.

Because they have a naturally lower tension, the Thomastik KF110 strings can be safely installed on classical guitars so you can experiment with the sound, and since the G, B, and A strings are thinner than traditional nylons, electric guitarists can get a more natural playing feel out of their classical guitar. Alternatively, you can load up a standard steel-string acoustic with these strings and enjoy a more mellow timbre.

String Construction

Each of the strings included in this pack have been finished with ball-ends so they can be comfortably installed on both classical and acoustic models. The high-E string is made from brass-plated steel and has been left unwound, while the B and G strings have a steel core and stainless steel flat winding, and the A and E strings have a steel core with nickel flat winding. All of this amounts to a remarkably unique pack of strings with a unique sound and feel.
