If you play a 12-string Dreadnought, then a set of Elixir 16152 Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze strings will provide a bright, clear tone and last longer than other strings to boot. As well as tone, these roundwound strings are also less susceptible to dirt build-up. In terms of tension and thickness, these Light strings are comparable to a 6-string set with gauges .010 to .047. The six extra strings vary in thickness from .009 up to .027 inches.

Geweldige set snaren. Fantastische klank en lange houdbaarheid en erg toonvast.
Je betaalt weliswaar wat meer voor een set maar ze gaan
(behoudens snaarbreuk door te enthousiast spelen ;-) ) inderdaad 3 tot 5x langer mee.
Dus zeker een aanrader.
