The CPS1424 is excellently suited for louder types of music, as this 24-strand set of coiled 14-inch snare wires give your snare drum a dark and powerful sound and quick response. Furthermore, changing the CPS1424 snare wires is a piece of cake thanks to the Speed Release system, which allows you to remove the snare wires without having to disengage the snare strainer. Finally, the Anti-choke end plates slightly raise the snare wires near the edge of the drumhead to prevent sympathetic vibrations.
