This is the 400-ohm version of the Beyerdynamic DT 108 single-sided headset with 200-ohm microphone in grey. It's earned almost iconic status in the world of TV and film production due to the fact that the DT 108 (and its counterpart the DT 109 headphones) have earned their stripes as industry standards.

Features

This single-sided headset boasts excellent sound isolation properties - it can suppress up to 20 dB ambient noise - and the ear piece closes the ear off completely. The other ear is not covered to allow for unhindered communicate and monitoring, and the set is comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time without causing irritation. The DT 108 is capable of handling extremely high sound pressure levels. A cable for this headset is sold separately.

Design

The DT 108 is built to be durable and long-lasting. In case any component should get lost or damaged, however, most parts are replaceable thanks to the modular construction.
