Darkglass is popular with bassists from heavier music genres for good reason. That's because they know exactly how a bass needs to sound for these styles of music. The Alpha Omnicron is quite similar to the Alpha Omega only it's not quite as comprehensive which means it's more affordable. It still has a double distortion engine on board, however, which makes it ideal for bassists who already have a great-sounding amp but want to add a good dose of distortion on top.

Alpha Omicron: easy to use

The Alpha Omicron is easy to use, just like other products by Darkglass. The Mod control lets you choose between Alpha and Omega distortion or you can even have a mix of both. The Drive control determines the amount of gain in your signal and the Blend control lets you adjust the mix between the clean and processed signals. There's also a Level control with which you can adjust the volume.

That's not all....
