First, there was the TS9 but now there is the TS9DX for guitarists who want just that bit of extra options. The TS9DX has the same internal components as the TS9 plus 3 extra settings. The TS9DX has a fourth knob above the drive, tone and level knobs, that allows you to adjust the low-end crunch. As a result, you'll have an extra fat and bass-like distortion in addition to the popular tube sound that this Tube Screamer is known for.
From blues and rock to metal
Over the last 30 years, the TS9 has been very popular among blues and rock guitarists, and famous musicians like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Noel Gallagher used this pedal frequently. In the '80s, when the TS9 was released, heavy metal was getting more and more popular and guitarists discovered the characteristic sound of the TS9 overdrive. As such, they used it a lot in combination with other distortions. This low-end boost could be a very welcome option for metal guitarists!

Naar mijn mening echt een super pedaal!!! De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ook goed. Zelf was ik opzoek naar een blues driveachtig pedaal en dat heb ik gevonden. Ik wilde eerst de TS9 kopen maar uiteindelijk heb ik besloten om toch deze aan te schaffen voor meedere mogelijkheden en dit bleek. Uiteraard was er ook de snelle levering van bax die we gewent zijn.

Gezien dit precies de originele TS9 is met een extra knop voor apparte modes is er weinig reden om deze niet te kiezen als je bang bent dat deze niet zo goed zal zijn als de originele. op bas gebruik ik de extra features niet, maar ze zijn zeker niet onbruikbaar.
