The YJM308 Yngwie Malmsteen Overdrive: Magnus Opus
Malmsteen effortlessly pulls off lightning fast arpeggios, extremely expressive vibratos and big impacting riffs. So not a single note or nuance is lost, MXR has packed this signature overdrive pedal with a brand-new circuit that's fully aimed at delivering maximum clarity and dynamics. Meanwhile, the control lay-out has been kept simple yet highly effective. You get just two pots - Level and Gain - but every small tweak has a huge effect on the sound. Helaas viel het pedaal mij tegen. Je versterker moet al flink aangedreven zijn, anders valt het pedaaltje erg tegen. Van alles geprobeerd, maar ik kreeg met mijn SV20H en HS3 gewapende Stratocaster niet het geluid wat ik had gehoopt. Ik houd mijn decibel relatief laag middels een JHS little black amp in a box. Mogelijk ligt het daaraan, maar met andere pedalen dit probleem nog niet gehad.
