Toca's Freestyle II djembes are ideal instruments for musicians who play outside, or who travel around a lot. Thanks to its rubber base, it's highly stable, won't be scratched by rough surfaces if you're playing outdoors, and won't slide around while you're playing. It's also very extra lightweight for enhanced portability, and it features a gorgeous Spun Copper finish that looks as if it was painted on with the help of a potter's wheel.

Synthetic all-weather drumhead

This Toca Freestyle Djembe's drumhead is kept in tune using a mechanical tuning system. However, if you prefer a rope tuned model, that is also available. To ensure this djembe is suited for outside use, Toca fitted it with a synthetic drumhead that can handle a spot of rain, and won't stretch or dry out. That way, it will stay in tune for a long, long time!
