The Electro Harmonix Neo Mistress delivers a classic flanger sound. The compact pedal fits into your hand and allows you to adjust the sweep and speed of the effect yourself.
Classic/modern
The EHX Neo Mistress has been modelled after the original Electro Harmonix Mistress. As such, this modern Neo offers the classic flanger sound of the Mistress, housed in a compact die-cast casing with two simple controls.
With the Nano series, Electro Harmonix moves with the times, offering modern guitarists old-fashioned magic with a contemporary design.
Easy to use
Plug your guitar into the input of the Neo Mistress and connect the output of the pedal to your amplifier using a jack cable. The effect pedal is powered by a 9V battery or via an optional adapter. Once you switch the Neo Mistress on, you can experiment freely with the two knobs, creating the ultimate flanger sound.
The rate knob determines the modulation speed. The feedback knob, meanwhile, controls the resonance of the effect, adding colour to your flanger sound. Adjust the flanger level from subtle to quite prominent and increase or decrease the modulation at will. Anything is possible, so feel free to explore!

Stevig pedaal, eenvoudig te bedienen: twee knoppen en een voetswitch. Het pedaal is digitaal, ruist een beetje in gebruik, niet in bypass mode. Je kan de sweep bevriezen in de matrix stand. Het is in te stellen van subtiel tot over de top, en alles er tussen in.
Klinkt goed, is echter niet analoog voor de puristen onder ons......

Nadat ik zijn broertje (neo clone/chorus) gelijk weer verkocht had, valt de flanger mij 100% mee. De chorus had een harde plop bij inschakelen, klonk erg blikkerig en kon niet via een daisy chain gevoed worden.
Nu de neo mistress: heeft een mooie mix (legt net een dun laagje op je sound). Ikzelf zet de feedback op 9 uur en maak de sounds met de rate. Klinkt super voor dit geld.
