The Pixel Bubble 80 MKII by Showtec is a very low-res LED screen made up of LED light bulbs. Create a show using preset programs, or take the helm via DMX, Artnet or Klingnet.

Showtec Pixel Bubble 80 MKII: expansion options

The Pixel Bubble 80 MKII has 15 one-metre-long strands, each consisting of 5 RGB LED bulbs. That means you've got 75 LED bulbs to work with. If you wan tot expand on this, there are various accessories available so you can have a maximum of 30 LED strands. There are also extension strands so you can create 'holes' in your matrix for other visual effects. Let your imagination go wild!

Operation options

As mentioned previously, in terms of operation, you can use DMX, Artnet or Klingnet. With DMX, you'll have 12, 150, 225, 300, 375 or 425 DMX channels for optimal control. Showtec have also equipped the Pixel Bubble with an RJ-45 input/output for direct use with Kingnet or Artnet. In Klingnet, the software automatically recognises the fixture so you don't need separate nodes to convert and transmit your signals.
