Whether it's amplifying bands or DJ sets, the combo of a potent 15 inch woofer, an 8 inch mid-range cone driver and a 1.75 inch neodymium compression driver is backed up by a 2,100 Watt peak power; a maximum sound pressure level of 138 decibels at one-metre; and a horizontal audio dispersion range of 100° by 60°. Basically, this speaker literally covers everything.

The RCF NX 985-A: Pro Live Sound

The internal Class-D amplifier is around 50% more powerful and efficient than previous generations, and thanks to a fast attack and potent output, assures live engineers of consistent, latency-free sound. The lightweight yet hefty transducers handle the power capacity with smooth efficiency while preventing distortion, and while the mid-range section adds detail and clarity, the 15 inch woofer delivers stable and distortion-free bass reproduction. The NX 985-A is also home to a Bass Motion Control function that removes the need for a high-pass filter, so even in the lowest frequencies, the bass remains stable and the sound quality remains consistent. Finished with a set of FiRPHASE filters, each painstakingly configured by specialists, the audio image is immediately transparent, clean, clear of any phase distortion and almost latency-free.
