Packed away inside a small and portable little cabinet, the Vonyx V205B active monitor supplies two channels: one for a microphone or guitar and one equipped with a stereo RCA input for external audio equipment. Both an XLR and 6.3mm jack input have been fitted and coupled to a 'GTR/MIC' switch that can be hit depending on what you're plugging in, while a second combo XLR/jack port has been fitted around the back. To link this compact monitor to a larger PA system, a Thru port has also been fitted on the back panel, and besides serving as a stage monitor, this model can also be used to amplify vocals and acoustic guitars during smaller gigs or even speeches and lectures. Once hooked up, the gain can be adjusted per channel for the perfect mix and the bass mids and treble can be tweaked to ensure clear and balanced sound. To finish, this neat all-in-one unit supplies a USB stick slot so that mp3s can be played back, or you could simply pair your phone over Bluetooth for wireless playback. And, to widen the audio spread, the V205B can even be mounted on a microphone stand.
