The Mobile Road series by DAP Audio contains speakers for all kinds of applications. Are you working with limited space or don´t you need too much volume? This DAP DRX-8 is perfect for you and ideal for smaller bar/restaurants, meeting spaces or schools. This passive full-range speaker is the most compact model out of the range and only weighs 9 kg. Nonetheless, impressive PA performances are provided. The DRX-8 has a peak capacity of 200 watts and can effortlessly handle 100 watts of continuous power. The speaker can be connected with the locking connector at the rear.
DAP DRX-8: components
This compact model is highly durable. 15mm thick plywood is used for the housing and the scratchproof black finish looks good, but is resistant against the hardships of PA applications. The woofer is 8 inches in size and thanks to the fan-cooled housing, impressive bass frequencies are provided (especially if you take the size of the unit into account). A 1-inch driver takes care of the high frequencies with uniform distribution of 50 x 50 degrees. Built-in protections guard the compression driver against power spikes. The DRX-8 can be suspended or mounted on a stand or distance rod (35 mm). DAP provide separately available accessories.
