Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Medium Hi-hats
The raw finish and untreated material, made of B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), result in an extreme, dark sound with short sustain. These hi-hats have quite a dominating personality, thanks to their low frequency range, so you won't be cutting through the mix with a barrage of highs with this pair of B13EDMHs. They have a very civilised volume, but their timbre can be quite ominous, especially when you play them half open, and they have a dark stick response with little wash.
