Meinl's Byzance series of hand-crafted cymbals is aimed at professional drummers who know what they want, and the Byzance Jazz subset of cymbals is aimed specifically at jazz drummers. The B13JTH Jazz Thin Hi-hats are part of that line. They are a pair of 13-inch hi-hats with an unlathed bottom cymbal and a hand-hammered finish, and are given a solid core sound thanks to the B20 bronze alloy they're made of.
