Zildjian have been making cymbals for centuries and continue to be at the forefront when it comes to innovation. Their A Avedis series, however, is a modern version of a cymbal that was used on countless recordings between the 1930s and 1970s. These AA15HPR A Avedis 15-inch hi-hats have a similar sound to the original model and a patina finish that gives them an 'aged' look too. They're also adorned with an Avedis logo.

Zildjian AA15HPR A Avedis: Cast Bronze

These hi-hats are made of Zildjian's Cast Bronze B20 alloy and hammered by hand which gives each cymbal its own unique sound. The bottom cymbal's medium thin weight and the top cymbal's thin weight both have a bright sound with darker overtones and together they produce a clear chick. They have excellent stick definition and response too and with a low to average pitch and a long sustain, they're perfect for any style of music but most at home in genres like world music, pop and rock.
