This is a lot of mic for the money. It sounds natural and smooth, without the nasty high end a lot of cheap condensers have - so far it's worked well on everything I've put it in front of - vocals, amps, acoustic guitar, drum room. Build quality is fantastic too. I kinda wish it had a shockmount, but at this price I'm fine with the normal one. The only real down side is how long it is, which can make it a bit awkward to position.
