Enjoy great value for money with this set of drum microphones by Audio Technica. The MB-DK5 set consists of four MB 5k microphones and a MB-6k. MB 5k microphones are perfect for recording toms and snare drums. A cardioid pickup pattern ensures accurate registration of the sound of desired parts of the drum kit. The frequency response is perfect for close-miking applications and opens up space in the mix, as the very low frequencies are skipped by the MB 5k.
Practical
Recording heavy kick drum sounds requires a different approach, which is why the MB 6k is included. This microphone has a large diameter and registers the bass drum frequencies from 60 Hz onwards. The five microphones in this set are dynamic, so that a phantom power supply is not needed. Thanks to the durable, accessory hardcase, the set can easily be taken to any job. This set is ideal to have on hand for spares, or as an all-in-one drumming solution.

Super setje microfoons om een drumkit mee te versterken! De microfoons klinken echt super, en de MB6k is een super microfoon voor de kick. Deze vangt hij super op, en hij klinkt erg krachtig. De tom microfoons zijn qua klank ook zeer transparant, en klinken super. De MB5k heb ik ook al eens als microfoon voor een gitaarversterker gebruikt. Ook daarvoor zijn ze prima te gebruiken.
