The DAP GIG series consists of practical mixers for home and live use. This DAP GIG-124CFX is one of the most extensive mixers from the series and excels thanks to its combination of 8 full-fledged channels, a digital effects section and an independent compressor for each of the first four microphone channels. With the latter you can easily flatten out volume peaks in vocals or speech. This results in a better sound and improved intelligibility. Applications of the GIG-124CFX

With the inputs and outputs of the GIG-124CFX, you can effortlessly amplify a small or band or drama group. Other viable applications are presentations and conferences. The basis of this mixer is centred around six microphone inputs, the last two of which can also be used as a stereo input for CD/DVD/MP3 players, laptops and instruments, like guitars and keyboards. Beside these six are two additional stereo inputs. The sound of each of the channels can be accurately fine-tuned with 2 and 3-band equalizers.

Monitoring, effects and extension

Let the DAP Audio GIG-124CFX send the signal to one or two floor monitors, so that actors, vocalists and speakers can hear themselves and each other very well on stage. With the AUX and FX rotary knobs, you can ensure that each monitor receives all channels in the right proportion. Instead of a second monitor, the digital effects section can also be used: use reverb, for instance, after which you can adjust the intensity per channel. You can possibly extend the mixer with a separately available MP3 playback or recording module or Bluetooth module.
