The Mackie 1604 is a mixer from the VLZ4 series that boasts great features for both live and studio applications. It's a true low-noise product, so your final signal is always crystal-clear and free of noise. The 1604VLZ4 has no fewer than 16 mono channels, each equipped with a quality channel strip. Using a 3-band equalizer with sweepable mids, gain knob, 75Hz low-cut filter and various aux controls, you're able to make the most of each of your channels.

Onyx Preamps

Mackie has equipped their 1604VLZ4 mixer with sixteen high-quality Onyx microphone preamplifiers, ensuring a high dynamic range and very low harmonic distortion. Regardless of the type of microphone you're working with, these Onyx preamps retain the sound characteristics and dynamics for your main mix. Thanks to an equalizer and low-cut filter per channel, it's possible to find the right tonal balance for each of your mics. Phantom power for your condenser microphones is supplied, of course.

Connectors

All of the 1604VLZ4's connectors can be found at the mixer's rear. Per channel, an XLR and a jack input are at your disposal, as is a TRS insert for all your effect needs. Tape inputs and outputs come in the shape as RCA connectors, as usual, while the mixer's main output, control room and sub group outputs run via 6.3mm jack. Thanks to its sturdy construction and great user ease, the Mackie 1604VLZ4 mixer is a reliable and efficient companion, both on stage and in the (radio) studio.
