Tascam's Model 12 is much more than just a mixer alone. Not only does it come with a built-in recorder, it can serve as an audio interface too. It's the perfect tool for live recordings and makes a sweet hands-on workstation for your home studio.
Old School Analogue
If you want to make digital recordings but are a little too attached to that good 'ol analogue workflow, the Tascam Model 12 strikes a happy medium. The six mono channels and two stereo channels are fully analogue and fitted with compression, EQ and two AUX sends, one of which gives you access to a richly filled effects processor. Since each channel can be individually sent to the submix or directly to the master, this mixer is ideal for recording drums and instruments.
With or Without a Computer
You can safely leave the manufacturing of recorders in the capable hands of Tascam. In addition to a handy USB port for a seamless integration in a DAW of your choice, the Model 12 has been equipped with a 12-track recorder and a 48 kHz / 24-bit resolution. This means the Model 12 is also an interesting choice for those who prefer to work with a computer.

Mooie mixer met goede bouwkwaliteit, fijne bediening en handige features zoals multitrack recording via de interne SSD en de ingebouwde bluethooth receiver.
Zeer degelijke mengtafel. Veel mogelijkheden. De compressie op elk kanaal is zeer fijn. Ook de mogelijkheid om een apparaat Bluetooth te verbinden. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is dit de prijs meer dan waard.
Buitengewoon fijn apparaat. Ik heb hem gekocht als DAW controller voor Pro Tools. Okay, de Model 12 heeft geen motor faders, maar het is heel fijn werken met soepele degelijke faders. Het hele apparaat voelt stevig en goed gebouwd. Heel fijn is dat de Model 12 presets heeft als DAW Controller voor Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, Cakewalk, Logic, DP, Reaper, Studio One en Cubasis. Deze lopen via MCU of HUI. Maar ook als multitrack recorder (zonder computer) is dit een fijn apparaat. Muisstil, prima routing, 8x XLR in met phantom power en fijn opnemen op een SD card met de mogelijkheid markers toe te voegen die later in bijvoobeeld Izotope RX als metadata meekomen. Klasse. De effecten zijn een leuke bonus en de Model 12 doet ook dienst als Bluetooth audio input in mijn huis studio. Beste aankoop in lange tijd!
Ik had er hoge verwachtingen van toen ik de Tascam model 12 aanschafte, maar nu dit ding in mijn bezit heb, zijn die zwaar overtroffen!! Wat een geweldig ding is dit zeg. Zonder of met computer... inpluggen en gaan met die banana! Echt fantastisch!
