The Genelec 8340A will feel at home in any mix-and-mastering den, where it's guaranteed to deliver extremely neutral, fully robust audio and a frequency response of 38 to 22,000 Hertz (-6dB) at an SPL of no less than 110dB (or 45 Hz - 20 kHz at +1.5dB). Here, delivery is taken care of by a 6.5-inch woofer matched with a 0.75-inch tweeter.

Other measures taken by Genelec to guarantee fully optimised sound are the inclusion of an Iso-Pod stand and technology like DCW (Directivity Control Waveguide) as well as MDE (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure), which help to ensure that any audio produced sounds as neutral as possible.
