The Fortin Mini Zuul is one of the most transparent noise gates you're ever likely to meet. The guts of this smart little stompbox have been constructed using studio-grade components, giving your guitar, bass, or indeed, any other instrument, nothing but the best. This pedal can even be placed before your amp or within the FX loop as needed. Adjust the single Threshold pot to tweak the dynamics of the gate circuit while two colour LEDs provide visual feedback. On the side, a discreet mini-switch has been kindly added so that the threshold range can be set, and any input volume discrepancies can be compensated with ease. This compact true bypass mini-pedal has made with 100% Canadian blood, sweat, and tears and is soon to become one of your pedalboard essentials.

I've used a lot of gates over the years including the Revv G8 and I've never been happy with any of them. They either cut in and out when you don't want them to or kill the tail off your signal.
The Zuul is the first gate I have ever used where you really don't notice it in your signal path, it's the best gate bar none. It even does a stellar job without the key input, the key input just makes it perfect.
