Bought the KD200 to beef up my Roland VAD307 kit which has the smaller kick drum. Checked first and it happily works with the TD17 module. It’s a fabulously well made drum. I’ve a Gretsch Renown and it’s as good as that. (Maybe because Roland now own them!). Re sound, it’s basically the same pad as the smaller KD180L however it does seem to have a little more power. Not sure why, could be due to air movement against the trigger sensor. I primarily bought this to give my VAD307 a bit more stage presence as I gig more and more with the electric kit so this looks fab.
