HeadRush MX5 Amp Modelling Guitar Effect Processor With Looper and USB Audio Interface
Descrizione
HeadRush introduce the MX5 Amp Modelling Guitar Effect Processor: a space-saving yet hugely potent multi-effects unit that's been fully prepped for stage and studio work. Thanks to the specially designed multi-core DSP, highly realistic effects and amplifier emulations are a given and can be intuitively selected via the 4" touch-capacitive, backlit LCD colour display. By simply touching, swiping or a little dragging-and-dropping, existing sounds can be tweaked effortlessly while fresh sounds can be created in no time. In 'hands-free' mode, it's even possible to alter your tone via the built-in expression pedal, which goes to show how HeadRush have clearly designed the MX5 to make your life as a guitarist not just a little, but a lot easier.
The MX5: Anything's Possible
With the HeadRush MX5 by your side, you can take on literally any style since you're set up with a huge library home to 46 amp models, 15 cabinets with 10 microphone emulations, 300 impulse responses and 63 studio-grade effects. While all of that is already awesome as is, the library will only grow bigger with each new firmware update or as you load in your own 1024/2048 sample length IRs via the fitted USB port. From vintage to modern, from straight-up pop to the blackest metal, anything's possible with MX5 - especially because you're offered three foot switches with coloured LEDs to switch seamlessly between models, scenes, rigs and more.
Expression Pedal and Looper
The built-in expression features two modes: Classic and Advanced. In addition, you have the option of toggling two banks so you can, say, quickly switch between a wah pedal and an expression pedal you want to use to tweak effect parameters. Meanwhile, another brilliant addition to the MX5 is the integrated looper which not only allows you to layer sounds, load in backing tracks to jam along to and facilitate inspiring songwriting sessions, but save your loops as WAV files and export any to your Mac or PC via USB. Loops are capped at a maximum length of 5 minutes and you're free to store up to 20 minutes of layered audio.
Audio Interface and I/O
Since the HeadRush MX5 can double as a 24-bit 96kHz audio interface when connected to a computer, it can be used for recording as well as re-amping. Re-amping is simply done by sending any pre-recorded audio from your DAW to the MX5 and back again. This way, you can enhance the recording without having to play and record it again first. Also, as expected from a high-end multi-effects processor, the MX5 comes with a small army of inputs and outputs, including stereo outputs, an FX loop, AUX in, a headphone jack and MIDI - everything you need for seamless integration into any studio set-up or live rig.
