Descrizione
Expansive digital multi-effect pedals might be very popular, but demanding guitarists would sometimes rather have a smaller set of more common, top-quality effects in a single, practical housing. With their Soulmate, the famous T-Rex now finally offers such a product! The 45 x 15 centimetre multi stomp box houses a boost function and a tuner, along with a foursome of outstanding T-Rex effects: Møller (overdrive), Mudhoney (distortion), Replica/Reptile (delay) and RoomMate (reverb). What's more, the sound is of the same quality as that of the original T-Rex pedals!
The benefits of the SoulMate
After you take the lightweight SoulMate (only 2 kg) from the included lined gig bag, you can enjoy a rugged, stylish and exceptionally accessible multi-effect pedal. Naturally, the SoulMate has several other advantages over separate stomp boxes, as you don't need the full clutter of cables, a pedal board, and you get the pleasure of rapidly switching between pedal combinations with the built-in 10-preset switcher. You can also tap at your heart's content in Live mode, which switches every pedal on or off independently.
The connectors
This multi-effect stomp box has a dry signal that is always analogue. It also comes with a power adapter that can also power an additional 12V pedal thanks to the Soulmate's practical power out. Another handy addition are the effects loop connectors between the distortion and delay. These allow you to use the overdrive/distortion before your amplifier and place the delay, reverb and boost in the amp's effects loop, or place a volume pedal between the effects. Additionally, the SoulMate features two outputs so you can send out a stereo signal.
