The 105Q Crybaby Bass by Dunlop is the ultimate wah effect for bass players. In contrast with most wah-wah pedals for bass guitar, the effect from the 105Q is only applied to the mid and high frequencies. This means that the low frequencies and the definition of your sound are left untouched, which is of course beneficial when you're supporting a group with your bass. After all, there's a good reason why Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Robert Trujillo from Metallica both use the Dunlop 105Q Crybaby Bass.

User-friendly

This sleek white Crybaby Bass is incredibly easy to use. Thanks to the switchless design, all you have to do is put your foot on the pedal to switch it. When you lift your foot, the spring mechanism ensures that the pedal goes back to the open position, and the effect is turned off automatically. This function was designed with a slight delay so you can't accidentally turn off the effect when moving the pedal.

Wah-wah pedal with Variable Q and volume

On the left side of the Dunlop 105Q you'll find two small rotary dials. One of these is the Variable Q, which you can use to adjust the tonal character and intensity of the wah effect. Turn the knob to the right for a higher tone that releases an extreme vocal sound, and turn it counter-clockwise for a warmer, more subtle wah sound. Use the volume control to adjust the level of the effect to the dry sound or to soften or boost it for solos that will really stand out.

Finally, the Dunlop 105Q Crybaby Bass can be powered by a single 9V battery or via the optional Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter. It features a unique battery lid on the bottom which gives you direct access to the battery for quick, easy battery changes.
