The DiMarzio DP163F Bluesbucker is a humbucker-sized P90 with an active main coil and a secondary coil that only serves to suppress any hum. The 'main' coil also features adjustable poles, meaning this hybrid pickup can be installed in various ways. When it's mounted at the bridge with the hot coil closest to the bridge, you get a clearer and tighter sound. When it's mounted at the bridge with the hot coil closest to the neck, you get a warmer sound. When it's mounted in the neck position with the screw coil towards the bridge, you get Tele-style tone. Installed at the neck in the more traditional direction, the sound is more like a pair of P90s. Extra-sensitive to playing dynamics thanks to Virtual Vintage and Airbucker tech, this pickup fully supports nuanced performances. Also, since this is the F-spaced version, it's only compatible with electric guitars equipped with a Floyd Rose or another tremolo-style bridge.
