When you think of the French metal giants, Gojira, you think big, heavy and ultimately unique sound. Which is exactly what you get with the DiMarzio DP290 Fortitude Bridge pickup. Developed with the help of lead singer and guitarist Joe Duplantier, this meaty dual-coil has been based on the 30th Anniversary PAF model but with a few frequency range tweaks. This gives the Fortitude a lot more low-end power, where the low-mids have been enhanced while the high-mids have been toned down, taking things far and away from the original sonic properties of your classic PAF and altering the dynamic response so that, the harder you hit the strings, the bigger the low-end boost.
