The fully loaded Fender Custom Shop Texas Special SSS Pre-Wired Pickguard offers all dedicated Strat players access to classic Strat sound with a little more dust, grit, and attitude. Mounting this all-in-one upgrade is easy: simply solder on your output jack, make sure it's properly connected to the grounding wire, then screw on your new pickguard. Each of the three single-coils have an enamel coated coil and a set of staggered magnet poles to retain a balanced output across all six strings, and since the mid-mounted pickup is reverse-wound, your Strat won't be bothered by any unwanted noise when switching through pickup configurations. This fully Texan-flavoured setup is built for channelling the unflinching and fierce tone of players like Jimmy and Stevie Ray Vaughan themselves, using your very own axe.
