The merciless Death By Audio Robot takes your tone, sticks it in a blender and mixes in some pitch-shifting before pounding it up into bonkers 8-bit sound. Twist the central rotary switch to select one of four Robot modes: pure 8-bit conversion, an octave down, an octave up or a built-in arpeggiator. Note that the Robot has a will of its own and won't operate when hooked up to a daisy chain, but when you feed it via its own power supply this very-special treat of a stompbox will give you endless joy, especially since it was hand-built with love and care in New York City.
