De beste natuurlijk akoestische gitaarklank die ik ooit heb heb gehoord bij een pickup.
Uiteraard niet zo goed al je gitaar opnemen als met een hoogwaardige microfoon, maar het komt werkelijk in de buurt. Ik kom van een B-Band UST/AST-combinatie, en de Lyric is een echte verbetering.
Een zekere "boxy" klankkleur kan je voor opnames verbeteren door in een equalizer enkele rondzingende probleemfrequenties naar beneden te halen.
Ik heb hem nog niet kunnen proberen in een live situatie dus, dus ik kan voorlopig niet veel zeggen over eventuele feedbackproblemen. Hier thuis brengt mijn versterker met "notch" soelaas als ik feedback uitlok.
Ik heb de installatie zelf gedaan op ongeveer 30 minuten.
Aanrader voor gitaristen die een natuurlijke, "houten", akoestische klank willen...
