American DJ present the Flat Par TRI18X. It is the successor to the Flat Par TR118 that already featured a large number of Tricolour LEDs to eliminate colour shadows. The TRI18X also has that function and adds a double bracket and a filter frame for a diffusion filter for an even wider range of applications!
TRI18X: the ins & outs
The TRI18X actually had more possibilities as it improved on the already great TRI18 concept. This TRI18X has the same housing as the Mega Par Profile, and benefits from its side-mounted connectors to enable its use as an uplighting spot light! Both DMX and power can be daisy-chained from unit to unit, making the Tri18X perfect for elaborate events that could use a colourful atmosphere.
TRI-Colour LEDs in the Flat Par
The previous version, the TRI18, also featured Tri-colour LEDs to produce a massive light output and smooth colour blends. American DJ presents us with a powerful RGB fixture with a high light output and smooth colour blends in a very practical housing, everything you need for a wicked light show.

Ik was op zoek naar een RGB spot (of RGBW) met een afstralingshoek van minstens 40°, die als flutter diende om een groot oppervlakte te belichten (stemmingslicht in een zaaltje). Had enkele weken voordien 2 RGBW COB led spots van 60 W besteld van Starville, met stralingshoek van 60°, maar helaas de lichtsterkte was niet erg overtuigend. Heb ze dan ook maar doorverkocht. Bestelde dus 2 x ADJ Tri18X platte led spots met stralingshoek van 40 ° (er was trouwens geen equivalent model te vinden - de meeste waren met stralingshoek van 25°). Keurig geleverd door Bax, aangesloten: ik ben verbaasd over de hoeveelheid licht deze ADJ geeft., zelfs over een afstand van 4 m. De kleuren RGB zijn helder en mooi, eveneens de mengkleuren. Een eenvoudig menu laat toe de spot ook in te stellen als een vaste kleur (RGB en mengkleur). En heel belangrijk voor gebruik bij theater: ventilators die bijna niet te horen zijn. Echt geluidsstil. Een zeer goede aankoop. Nog even vermelden dat bij instelling voor wit (RGB max) dit een koud, maar mooi egaal wit is, zonder kringen van rood of groen.
