The DAP Stage Cube series offers a wide range of audio tools for professional stage and studio applications. The series consists of mini mixers, signal converters, DI boxes, preamplifiers and much more.
DAP Audio's SC-14 is a compact preamp that is specifically designed for use with your microphone. The SC-14 is equipped with XLR as well as 1/4-inch jack inputs and outputs, so that you can select which connector you want to use. The gain ensures that you are in control over the level of the fed-through signal, while the clip indication informs you if there is too much signal output. The built-in phantom power supply ensures that this preamp can also be used with condenser microphones!

Ik heb dit apparaat gekocht om een goedkope microfoon voorversterker te hebben.
Nadat ik deze ging testen merkte ik op dat de power adapter erg heet werd. Zo heet zelfs dat ik mijn hand er niet langdurig op kon leggen.
Gebeld met de serviceafdeling van Bax-shop. Deze stuurde direct een nieuwe op.
Echter bleek deze exact hetzelfde probleem te hebben.
Door deze enorme warmteproductie heb ik geen vertrouwen in dit product. Vandaar 1 ster, want het apparaat werkt overigens wel goed.
Wel 5 sterren voor de service van Bax-shop. Deze begrepen het probleem en uiteindelijke hebben ze een Behringer MIC100 geleverd. Super service!

Zeer goede microfoon versterker met bijhorende phantoom voeding. Enigste grote nadeel was de bijgeleverde adapter die enorm heet wordt (gevaarlijk) en heb daarom een andere moeten kopen. Versterker TOP ! 18 V adapter FLOP.
