The Club XD15 speaker by dB Technologies has been updated! The new set consists of two Opera 915 DX active speakers, which replace the former Opera 605 active speakers. The two SUB 18 D active subwoofers remain part of the set. There is a 300W improvement with the new speakers, which means you'll get a more powerful amplifier with more headroom. This set is the perfect thing for clubs and larger stages.
Opera 915 DX
The Opera 915 active speakers send their sound out via a 15-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil and a 1-inch driver with a 1.75-inch voice coil. They are amplified by the 900W Digipro amp module that delivers a killer sound. The maximum sound pressure of the speakers is 129 dB (SPL), and they have a frequency range of 48 to 20,000 Hz (-10 dB). The asymmetrical CD horn broadly projects the high tones and carries them far. On the back of the black housing, you'll find an XLR and 6.3mm jack signal input and output, and a microphone input. Finally, the 35mm stand adapter offers each of the 915 DX speakers the option of being mounted on a stand.
SUB 18 D
An 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil is where the deep tones of the SUB 18 D are produced. These bass frequencies are sent out omnidirectionally, with a maximum sound pressure of 134 dB (SPL). They are amplified by a class D Digipro amplifier with 1,000 watts of power. Furthermore, the bandpass subwoofers have a frequency response of 28 to 150 Hz (-10 dB). The SUB 18 D can therefore reproduce even the deepest of frequencies. Each of the subs has a built in RMS, peak and thermal limiter. Additionally, they also each have two XLR signal inputs and outputs along with a professional locking power input and output. You'll find an M20 pole mount on the top and left side, which makes it easy to get creative with distance rods. Finally, the handles on either side make it a lot easier to transport and place the SUB 18 D.

Heb afgelopen zaterdag voor het eerst deze subs in combinatie met de Opera 715 DX bij een housefeest gebruikt en ze klonken heel goed. Gewoon een echt lekkere volle bass die ook op zeer hoog volume strak blijft klinken.
Misschien toch nog een puntje van kritiek, de handvatten voelen niet heel degelijk aan.
Verder was de service van Bax-shop ook weer bovengemiddeld goed. De subs zouden, met levering via PostNL, pas na het weekend binnen komen. Ik had ze alleen al het weekend nodig voor een eerste klus en toen is Bax-Shop ze vrijdagmiddag vanuit Goes zelf komen bezorgen. Nogmaals bedankt Jan-Willem.
egt een top product stevige bassen die eruit komen ik gebruik er 1 met 2 opera 515 dx en egt maar 1 basskast voor nodig egt top alleen spijtig dat het zo lang heeft geduurd voor ik hem had maar dat is niks vergeleken met de werking ervan is dit niks top prestaties!!!!!!
Ik hoorde in een nabijgelegen winkels de lichter versie en dacht - wat moet de 900 wat versie dan zijn! Inderdaad - full range bereik en oorverdovend ! Praktisch lichtgewicht, overal handgrepen ( ook bovenkant) Dit in combi met subwoofer DB 18 inch-laat party's maar komen !
Super tevreden qua prestaties! Snap alleen niet dat er geen aan/ uit schakelaar op staat...steeds de stekker uit trekken... Levering liep ook niet vlot...Maar dat vergeet je snel allemaal eens je de boel aan zet! Mooie baslijnen dit in combi met actieve full range speakers ook van DB Opera 900!!
Na een nieuwjaar party kwam er enkel nog rook uit, nu ist gedaan met de bass. waarschijnlijk werkte de temperatuurbeveiliging toch niet zo goed :s hopelijk garantie :)
Nu ruim een jaar in (flink) gebruik en ik kan er alleen maar positief over zijn.
