The Fender Telecaster is one of the two greatest guitar models from the American builder's illustrious history. This American Vintage '64 Telecaster is everything but an average Telecaster. This guitar was fully modelled after the 1964 Tele and although it comes brand-new from the factory, it's like owning an instrument from a different era, as Fender have accurately copied the original guitar. A relic is usually unaffordable and compared to one of those, this American Vintage Tele is a guitarist's dream at a bargain.

American Vintage '64 Telecaster Fiesta Red: features

One of the most distinctive feature of this model is the neck. The thick, maple Tele neck was replaced in 1964 by a more slender version with a comfortable C profile that featured a fretboard with a rosewood veneer and pearloid position markers. Initially, the Tele body was made of ash but in 1964 Fender changed to it alder, resulting in a richer mid response. The authentic details of this guitar include staggered magnets in the bridge pickup and a Top Hat pickup switch tip. Two Grey Bottom single coils were carefully voiced to provide the genuine, vintage Tele sound.
