Inspired by the space age and the dawn of big guitar bands in the '60s, Fender introduces the Vaporizer. It is a fantastic looking amplifier combo that is available in three charming colour settings. This is the Slate Blue version. It is equipped with two preamp Groove Tubes 12AX7 and two power amp Groove Tubes EL84 that bring its total power to 12 watts. Full-tube technology for a surprisingly low price, almost like buying it at a pawn shop.
Features of the Fender Vaporizer Slate Blue
The housing of the Vaporizer has a very distinctive look that is mainly due to the shape of the grille cloth. It has an open back for a wide, spacious sound. Two 10-inch Special Design Vaporizer speakers provide the essential decibels and the accessory foot switch lets you activate the special Vaporizer mode. This mode skips the volume and tone adjustment and thus basically provides an open channel from your guitar to the power amp, leaving nothing in the way for you to enjoy some rather impressive tube-driven distortion. This blue Pawn Shop Special combo is surprisingly affordable and offers you unrivalled vintage charm with its sound and its looks.

Vrijdag besteld, zaterdag in huis. Gewoon zoals op de website vermeld! Dat is dus erg snel.
De versterker werd top afgeleverd in mint conditie!
Het is een heerlijk eenvoudig apparaat, simpele bediening, mooie fenderachtige cleane klanken. De vaporizer stand is voor thuis niet bruikbaar ( veel te luid), maar in een band waarschijnlijk wel. Dat heb ik echter nog niet kunnen testen. Ben benieuwd of hij dan ook genoeg volume heeft om de drummer aan te kunnen.
Afwerking van de amp is prima. Gewoon een goede buizenbak ( zeker voor deze prijs onverslaanbaar).

Van tevoren wat filmpjes bekeken om een indruk te krijgen wat ik kon verwachten, en ik was meteen verkocht. Hij is voor mij perfect vandaar een volle bak sterren.
Pluspunten
+ Simpele maar geweldige versterker, Volume, Tone, en eventueel reverb,
geen channels en overbodige luxe die ik niet nodig heb, ik speel toch i.c.m. een pedalboard .
+ Mooi vol en warm geluid, geproduceerd door de 2 speakers, naar mijn idee een pluspunt want wanneer je hem even de sporen geeft word niet alles door 1 speaker geperst.
Minpuntje
- het enige wat ik mis, maar ik weet niet of het mogelijk is op een buizen amp; een ( XLR ) direct out,
De interne speakers zijn wel los te koppelen, maar dan hoor ik zelf niks meer ;)

Fijne versterker, simpel geen toeters en bellen. Mooi clean geluid.
