Gibraltar's 5611 Prowler is an excellent bass drum pedal for starting drummers. The dual-surface beater of the Prowler is driven by a Single Chain CAM drive system - common for most bass drum pedals - and thanks to a ROCK plate with a Velcro base the Gibraltar pedal stays securely in place while you're playing.
The Gibraltar 5611 can be easily attached to your bass drum by means of its Rocker Hub. The screw that secures the pedal is located on the side, so it's easily accessible. Instead of the usual wing bolt, you can use a drum key to fasten the pedal, ensuring a tight connection that won't come undone easily. For tonal diversity, the Prowler has a dual-surface beater with a felt side as well as a synthetic side - use the latter for a louder sound with more attack. All in all, this Gibraltar 5611 Prowler is a great entry-level single bass drum pedal for beginning drummers on a budget.

Cette pédale me parait solide et a une bonne réactivité. De plus elle tient bien au sol grâce aux fixations intégrées à la semelle pour la visser sur un support (dalle de caoutchouc pour machine à laver qui atténue les vibrations pour ma part).
La livraison a été rapide, par contre le petit guide d'instruction pour le montage de la pédale n'était pas en français, et ce n'était pas facile à comprendre même avec le schéma.
Erg prettig pedaal, zeker voor de prijs! En het stemsleuteltje wat je er bij krijgt is altijd leuk meegenomen!
