The AR series from Ibanez is a classic and was one of its first body designs. This AR420L VLS is a lovely solid-body with double cutouts and a luxurious Violin Sunburst finish. The flamed maple top is the icing on the cake. Thanks to the solid-body construction of mahogany, the AR420L has a robust yet warm sound. Tuning stability is provided by the 3-ply maple neck which also adds a touch of bite to the trebles. The fretboard is made of rosewood, with 22 medium frets that have chic abalone pearl markers.

The robust ART1-bridge, with Quik Change Classic tailpiece, gives the AR420L great tuning stability and sustain. The bridge and tuners are gold-plated, enhancing the superb looks of this guitar further still. Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers pick up all the subtleties of your performance. The pickups have an average output for that vintage sound. A special Tri-sound switching system allows for extra diversity. You can choose to switch the pickups to run in series or parallel, or use them as single-coils.

The neck and fretboard are designed for optimal comfort and playing pleasure. The medium frets and familiar 12-inch radius ensure you will feel right at home.
