The M-Audio SBX10 active subwoofer has been designed to give your monitoring system a solid bass boost. The SBX10 offers a tight, clear bass response that reaches as low as 20 Hz, clearly bringing out the lower frequencies of your productions, so you can make accurate, efficient decisions about your mixes.
Equipped with a 10-inch fibreglass/paper composite driver, a 240-watt internal amplifier and a variable 50-200Hz crossover, the remarkably compact SBX10 subwoofer delivers an unparalleled performance that is ideal for studios with limited space.
An extra-large magnet, a high-temperature voice coil, a high-density cabinet and a wide range of inputs are just a few of the fantastic additional features this high-quality subwoofer has to offer.The SBX-10 is even equipped with a separate bypass foot switch, which enables you to quickly and easily determine how a mix sounds either with or without a special subwoofer.
The SBX10 is the perfect addition to any set of studio monitors. The subwoofer accepts the two-channel stereo outputs of your mixer, audio interface or sound card, and your monitors can be connected to the outputs of the sub.

Op vrijdag de 17de deze subwoofer besteld bij BAX-shop. Uiteindelijk werd het door omstandigheden 22.03 dat ik de bevestigings mail ontving. Voor 22.00 besteld.... Het zou mij benieuwen... Zaterdagmiddag keurig bezorgd! Hulde aan de BAX-shop! Kan niet anders zeggen, erg goede service. Ook de bestellingen daarvoor lieten niets te wensen over...
Zaterdagavond maar even de sub aangesloten. Samen met de aktieve Fahrenheit studio speakers zou dit moeten gaan werken. De fahrenheit speakers op de SBX10 aangesloten en gelukkig zit er een scala aan aansluitingen op. De ingang van de SBX10 vai gebalanceerd aangelsoten op de Behringer DX2000. Wauw, ik ben verrast. Ik ken wel degelijk subwoofers, maar dit caliber verslaat de rest. Hij gaat hard en laag en heb de subwoofer nog niet de fout in horen gaan. Een stevige geluidsdruk. Geweldig!
Ook de meegelerde voetschakelaar is erg functioneel waarvan ik eerder dacht, die ga ik toch niet gebruiken.
Ik ben er zeer content mee. De muziek die ik speel geeft via de subwoofer het extra stuk dat nnormaal ontbreekt! Aanrader! Voor het geld hoef je het naar mijn mening niet te laten!
Wat wel een nadeel is dat je erachter komt dat er nog meer geluidkwaliteit verschil zit in de verschillende muziekbronnen! Af en toe moet de bas iets terug, te overweldigend.
