Just like its predecessors, this robust and compact handheld recorder supports excellent 96kHz/24-bit linear PCM audio quality. To this quality, the LS-100 adds the option of creating studio-quality multi-track recordings wherever you are! Up to eight tracks can be used, including an overdub function and Playback Synchro, which allows you to monitor and record simultaneously.

Built-in stereo microphones and double XLR/jack combos

The highly sensitive and adjustable microphones of the Olympus LS-100 ensure natural-sounding audio recordings. The built-in limiter, compressor, automatic gain controls and adjustable low-cut filter ensure optimal, crystal-clear audio quality. Furthermore, the LS-100 features two XLR/jack combo connectors with switchable phantom power supply and independent volume controls for the left and right channel. These inputs can be used for music devices as well as external professional microphones.

The LS-100 features a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This means that heavy bass tones are registered just as naturally as subtle trebles. As the microphones can handle an SPL of 140 dB, the intensity of the audio is also picked up beautifully. Furthermore, the handheld features a clearly backlit LCD screen of 5.1 cm and an internal memory of no less than 4 GB. It can be further extended with a separately available SD, SDHC or SDXC card of respectively 2, 32 and 64 GB!
