This Pioneer A3 speaker enables you to stream music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, iPod, PC or Mac. The built-in rechargeable battery allows you to listen to your favourite music for five consecutive hours. Thanks to the protected ports and splash proof exterior you can even use it outdoors or in the bathroom. Audio is streamed via your Wi-Fi network, so decent transmissions over a long distance are ensured. If there is no suitable wireless network available near you, the Pioneer A3 can also be used as a Wi-Fi wireless access point (Wireless Direct). In short, this A3 speaker is the ideal audio solution for streaming music in high quality at home, in your garden, on your balcony or on holiday.

The A3: sublime sound and Internet radio
As far as functionality and specifications are concerned, the Pioneer A1 and A3 are identical. The A3 is also rechargeable and splash proof, however. We can thank Andrew Jones, Pioneer's 'Chief Speaker Engineer', for the excellent sound quality. He is responsible for some of the world's best speakers and has extensively tuned the sound of the A3. The A3 is equipped with an integrated vTuner Internet Radio, which gives you access to more than 10,000 Internet Radio stations worldwide.

Ultra-fast Wi-Fi
Audio is streamed to Pioneer's A3 via your local Wi-Fi network. This can be done by various means. Apple's AirPlay enables you to play every song and every playlist of your iTunes library. If you own an HTC smartphone, you can stream your music directly via HTC Connect. Other digital devices, such as PCs, laptops and smartphones, can set up a Wi-Fi connection via DLNA (1.5).
