This 8-track digital recorder by TASCAM records your music in CD-grade quality to affordable SD-SDHC cards. A 2GB card is included so you can get started right away! The ins and outs of the DP-03 - literally

The front panel of the DP-03 is fitted with a pair of built-in stereo condenser microphones. They're great for recording rehearsals, live performances or even songwriting ideas. A pair of high-grade XLR microphone preamps with phantom power are available for your condenser microphones, as are an instrument level switch and 6.3mm line inputs, which enable you to record a guitar or a bass guitar without using a direct box.

The recorder for mobile instrument recordings

Routing the inputs to one of the eight tracks is easy, and it is possible to record two tracks at the same time until all eight are filled up. A built-in tuner and metronome - each with its own dedicated button for quick access - allow for tight-sounding tracks.

Tracks can be edited using commands such as copy/paste, silence, clone track and undo. Bouncing is also an option: it is possible to bounce all eight tracks to one or two. If you like, the DP-03 even allows you to import a recording from a USB device or an audio CD.
