As its maker puts it, the EarthQuaker Devices Silos is a "multi-generational time reflection device." This unique stompbox has been loaded with various different delay effects and three different modes: Mode D gives you a digital delay with near-endless repeats that maintain quality of sound; Mode A gives you an analogue delay that gets darker with every repeat; and Mode T gives you a tape-style delay with a touch of distortion.

The EarthQuaker Devices Silos: Live and Preset Mode

The EQD Silos is easy to dial in thanks to the mounted Mix, Time and Repeat pots. It can also be set to either Live or Preset mode, and has room for storing up to six custom presets. You get a built-in footswitch for tap tempo as well as the option to plug in an external expression pedal and, since the buffered bypass circuit features Flexi-Switch technology, your delay tails are given maximum clarity.
